Mille #42

... and occasionally, I get that "you still there?" look.

Mille sits for hours just looking about in our yard. She takes little naps but is never asleep for long. I sit there observing her behavior sometimes, wondering what she is thinking when she does that. Is she thinking at all? Does she have conscious thought about what she is doing at any given moment? Is it all just instinct that drives them?

I believe that dogs live for the moment in life. They are always open to what may or may not happen next. Always alert to all that is in their domain and ready for the unexpected. Good or bad, they let it all just, happen. Dogs just react to it and then go on about their life. They don't worry about what may happen and don't obsess over what does happen. I love that about them and when I can, I try to be just like them.

Life is too short and trying to predict or manipulate what is going to happen during our time here is really a waist of that precious time. So why not let yourself be open to the moment and be ready for what may come your way next. Don't worry about what may or may not happen but be open to what ever it is that comes at you.

Who knows, you may enjoy the unexpected...

Cheers,

Rob
