It's those funny ears...

This is my 100th post, wooo hooo!!! So what do I choose for a subject, well dog ears of course, what else?!!!
These are just a dogs ears, well, not just dog ears, they are my dog Mille's ears.
It's these funny ears that I look at and marvel at, even after all this time. They have always made me chuckle when I look at them. They don't stand up, they don't lay down, they are like a flag flying at half mast. When we are walking they just bounce up and down like they're on a spring. They turn out a little here, in a little there, and are a little crooked too.
Ah but those ears, those wonderful ears, the are the finest ears in all the world. They hear everything, and I mean everything. They are so soft to the touch, like velvet, only softer. Once you start rubbing them it's hard to stop, I know from experience. If I am in a bad mood all I need to do is rub Mille's ears and the bad feelings just melt away.
They are also a built in mood meeter... up when she is happy, and down when she is scared, and almost flat when she is mad, although that last one isn't often. You can always tell her mood, just look at her ears.
Ah, but those ears, those ears, they are one of a kind. Not perfect, not straight and just like my girl, a little quirky. I love them though just as they are, wonderfully unique, just like my girl. Ah, but like those ears, Mille is very special and one of a kind.
