My Little Old Man

Posted by Rob (Velveetaville, United States) on 20 May 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

Buddy's just a year old... a puppy still. The thing is, whenever I take his portrait he looks like a very mature dog... so serious. I'm telling you, he's a goof, a real clown, really! It's like he knows when I go to make a capture of him he knows and wants to have a certain "look" for his fans. Reminds me of the old tin type portraits, so stiff, so posed. I'm a photographer that hates posed captures but it seems I only get Buddy that way even when he's not posing...

So, I embraced it, captured it, posted it.

Cheers,

Rob
