My first day in my "Forever" home

Posted by Rob (Velveetaville, United States) on 25 April 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

When we brought Buddy home he was very, very shy. He was so scared he was almost catatonic on the ride and just hid when we brought him in our house. He was pathetic. Buddy was a stray most of his life and people weren't that friendly towards him. So, you can imagine being near people was quite frightening to him.

This is his first day at our house and he spent it mostly under our kitchen table looking scared. We worked with one of our good friends Karlyn who is an animal behaviorist and trainer, to get him to trust us and to bond with us. With her help he has come out of his shell and well, blossomed.

More to come...
